When the group of friends gathers for a trip, you know the atmosphere will be great – and this time, the journey goes to sunny Crete! Here await days filled with activity, swimming, laughter, and perhaps a glass of wine or two in the evening sun.
We combine spectacular hikes, a boat trip to historic Spinalonga, and a taste of the real Crete – from mountains to sea. Along the way, you will stay at two great hotels – luxury at Elounda first, then beach life in Platanias.
During the week, you will have a varied and eventful program – from hikes in Crete's beautiful gorges to a boat trip on the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. Along the way, there will be plenty of time for socializing, tasty meals, and relaxed afternoons in pleasant surroundings.

Arrival at Chania airport (flights are not included).
Shared transfer bus to Royal Marmin Bay. The transfer time is just over 3 hours depending on traffic. Check-in upon arrival at Royal Marmin Bay Hotel in Elounda, just north of Agios Nikolaos.
Lunch and dinner on your own (not included).
Morning swim and breakfast. It is allowed to tempt yourself with a swim in the Mediterranean or in the hotel's pool area before enjoying breakfast.
After breakfast it's time for an excursion! Walk, take a bus or taxi to the port where the boat over to Spinalonga departs. Recommend an early departure to avoid potential queues. May is a popular month in Crete, so queues can occur for boat departures.
You arrange tickets for the boat yourselves, they are purchased at the pier before departure (not included). Approx. price is 14 euros for the boat trip, and approx. 8 Euros for entrance to the island (2025 prices).
The boat trip takes approx. 15 minutes over to Spinalonga, departing every half hour. It might be a good idea to bring a timetable so you do not miss the boat back.
You can stroll around the island at your own pace or purchase a guided tour when you arrive.
We recommend lunch in the harbor before you return to the hotel.

A great hike along the coast with fantastic views of the Mirabello Bay. Beautiful landscape with opportunities for swimming along the way.
Moderate hike, approx. 12-14 km, 3-4 hours at a leisurely pace.
Taxi / Bus back to the hotel (not included).
Lunch and dinner on your own (not included).
Today it's time to change hotels! After breakfast, you will be picked up by a private driver and safely transported onward to Marika Beach Hotel. It will be approx. 3 hours in the car where you will get to see a bit of the island you are on.
After check-in, there will be time for swimming & sunbathing at the new beach hotel.

Today will be an early departure, approx. 06:30. An English-speaking local guide will take you to the starting point for this beautiful hike. He will guide you through the gorge and out to the sea, with some stops along the way. Lots of good information / local history about the gorge.
Approx. 16-18 km. Total duration of the trip, from when you are picked up until you are back at the hotel again, is approx. 12 hours.
Opportunity for lunch at a Greek tavern when you reach the sea after the gorge (not included).
Boat and private bus back to the hotel (included).

After yesterday's long hike, your legs probably need some well-deserved rest. What could be better than a sunbed, socializing, swimming, and good food & drinks by the hotel? Or perhaps you take a trip into Chania for shopping, a café, or sightseeing?
