Dog sledding tour - a winter adventure you will never forget
When the world stops – and all you hear is paws on snow
A trip that takes you completely out of everyday life – and into the wilderness. Our dog sledding trips give you the feeling of being alone on the plateau, yet in perfect harmony with your pack: six energetic and enthusiastic dogs who love to run.
And you? You drive the team yourself – that's the whole point.
Here it is you, the dogs, and the silence. Maybe a cabin in the middle of the snowy nowhere. Maybe just snowflakes, breath, and silent paws. Either way – this is where you feel how alive winter truly is.
Learn to drive your own team
No prior experience is needed. Our local and experienced guides provide secure training on how to handle both the sled and the dogs. After that, all you have to do is lean into the turns – and enjoy the feeling of freedom.
As a rule, there are two people per sled – one drives, one sits warmly wrapped in reindeer skins enjoying the view. Then you swap along the way. Two ways to experience the wilderness – both equally magical.
Mountain lodges, campfire coffee, and new four-legged friends
You will stay at simple, cozy mountain lodges or cabins, often far from people and mobile coverage – and that is precisely part of the charm. Evenings are typically spent with a hot dinner, campfire coziness, and a look up at the starry sky.
And believe us – it won't take many hours before you have found a new four-legged favorite.
Celebration? Family? Winter with meaning
This is a trip suitable for groups of friends, families, and small groups wanting something completely different.
How about celebrating your 40th, 50th, or 60th birthday out on the plateau with happy dogs, reindeer skins, and frozen eyelashes?
