Cycling holiday along the Adriatic coast in Italy

The Adriatic Coast by bike

Varied cycling, medieval towns, and sunny days in Italy

A wonderful cycling holiday in Italy, in a truly exciting cycling terrain. Here, everything is set up for an active holiday! Both flat and hilly terrain right outside the hotel. Several medieval towns with lots of history in the immediate vicinity, such as Urbino, San Marino, and Mondaino. Combine several hours on a bike with a few hours of sun & swimming.
Enjoy the hotel's wonderful cuisine and great service. Can it get any better?

There are no Norwegian tour guides on these trips; you travel on your own and are well looked after by the hotel's crew, guides, and mechanics.

Cycling hotel with full service

Right between the regions of Marche and Emilia Romagna lies Gabicce Mare – a wonderful small town that has made everything ready for an optimal cycling holiday!

You stay right on the beach at “our” cycling hotel Hotel Alexander 4****, in the town of Gabicce Mare (Adriatic Sea). The hotel has its own cycling guides and mechanics. Organized excursions every day, except during high season. Good bikes from Bianchi.

Please note! The hotel's program with cycling excursions and “bikers' lunch” until 16:00 is not organized during the high season from June 15 to September 1.

Medieval towns with exciting histories

The Marche and Emilia Romagna regions both have fantastic landscapes with low-traffic roads. Many small medieval towns with exciting histories.
And if you are back at the hotel by early afternoon, a great lunch buffet (incl.) from a wonderful kitchen awaits you. Then there's nothing wrong with a few hours of relaxation around the pool or on the long beach before dinner is served. It doesn't get any better!

Choose your level of ambition

You set up your days just the way you want. Every day, except during high season, joint excursions are organized by the hotel's own professional guides. Different groups with different routes/profiles. In other words, you choose your own level of ambition based on your fitness level and goals for the day. The high season is from June 15 to September 1.

This trip suits most people who love to cycle. The program is flexible. Perhaps you are traveling with someone who does not want to cycle, or who wants a day off along the way. That is no problem since you stay at the same hotel the entire time – you can still eat breakfast, (late) lunch, and dinner together, and perhaps also get a few hours together on the beach.
