The Wednesday Gang to the Dolomites - Seiser Alm and Sassolungo

Hiking in the Dolomites - Seiser Alm and Sassolungo

Experience a week of fantastic hiking in the Dolomites, where mighty mountains and welcoming mountain huts will give you experiences you won't soon forget. Seiser Alm, the Rasciesa plateau, Sassolungo, Seceda, Col Raiser, and St. Jacob's Church – we explore all these iconic destinations on foot, surrounded by spectacular scenery.

The hikes last between 4 and 6 hours in hilly terrain at altitudes between 1500 and 2500 meters above sea level. We spend most of the day out in the mountains, and although we notice the altitude a bit at the beginning, the body quickly acclimates. Most days we start with a mountain lift that takes us up the first 1000 meters of elevation, and brings us comfortably back down in the afternoon. Each afternoon and evening there will be time for your own activities, whether you want to explore the town, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings at the hotel in the charming town of Selva di Val Gardena. We enjoy dinners in the hotel's restaurant, while lunches are either packed or eaten at a cozy mountain hut.
