Individual arrival at the hotel for your first night in Munich. If you arrive early in the day, we recommend a tour of the city. Oktoberfest is celebrated here every year.

Bicycle trips
Germany
Italy
Austria
There is no doubt that experiencing multiple countries on one and the same cycling trip is popular!
On this unique tour, you cycle through three countries – Germany, Austria, and Italy – in scenic surroundings. Each country offers its own culture, its own cuisine, and distinctive landscapes, giving you new impressions with every pedal stroke.
The tour starts in the German region of Bavaria, where you cycle along lakes and follow rivers through Tyrol's valleys. Along the way, you have the mighty mountains of the Dolomites as a backdrop and make a stop in beautiful Treviso, before the trip rounds off in Venice – where canals and palaces provide a conclusion that truly tops the whole experience.
You can look forward to a comfortable cycling trip where your luggage is transported from hotel to hotel – in other words, you cycle without extra weight and can enjoy every pedal stroke.
Crossing the Alps from Germany, cycling through Austria, and on to Italy offers a wonderful combination of cycle touring and true adventure!
This is a trip with highly varied terrain, offering everything from mountain passes to easy-to-cycle stretches. The most demanding stages over the Alps, such as Innsbruck – Brenner, can be shortened by taking the train, giving you the flexibility to adapt the trip as needed.
The stretch from Toblach to Cortina d’Ampezzo runs along a beautiful and easy-to-cycle route following the old railway line "Dolomites Railway". A unique experience in the Dolomites.
Along the way, you cycle through picturesque villages, lush valleys, and magnificent nature, providing a rich combination of cultural and natural experiences.
The last two days are mostly downhill and flat towards the sea – you end the trip with a peaceful arrival in spectacular Venice.
In total, the trip is approx. 525–545 km, spread over 9 days / 8 nights.

Individual arrival at the hotel for your first night in Munich. If you arrive early in the day, we recommend a tour of the city. Oktoberfest is celebrated here every year.

Today you leave Munich and cycle along the Isar River. Before you know it, you find yourself in the middle of untouched nature. The river is your faithful companion along the cycle path heading south.
Upon arrival in Bad Tölz, you will find many small streets with markets.
The Alpamare spa invites you to spend a few relaxing hours in the afternoon.

Today too, you follow the Isar River for much of the day, all the way to the Achensee holiday area. After crossing the border between Germany and Austria, the route enters the beautiful Karwendel Nature Park.
We recommend a boat trip on Lake Achensee before continuing through the valley to Jenbach. Great trip!

Today you follow the cycle path along the Inn River to Tyrol's capital, Innsbruck. We recommend a visit to the historic old town, where you can see, among other things, the famous "Goldenes Dachl" (the Golden Roof).
Or take a trip to Berg Isel, with the ski jump where the Four Hills Tournament events are held every year. There you will also find the "Berg Isel Museum".
The first and most demanding part from Innsbruck to the Brenner Pass is done by train or bus (included). The Brenner Pass is the border between Austria and Italy. Only a few buildings remain of the old border marking between the two countries.
From the Brenner Pass you cycle along the old railway line to Sterzing, and further to Franzefeste / Fortezza and Mühlbach / Rio di Pusteria.

From Mühlbach you follow a nice cycle path further through the Puster Valley. On the way, you pass the Mühlbacher Klause, a former border post.
You cycle further along the Rienz River all the way to Bruneck / Brunico. We suggest a visit to the Volkskundemuseum, the South Tyrolean Folk Museum located in Dietenheim.
From Bruneck, follow the cycle path all the way to Niederdorf / Villabassa or Toblach / Dobbiaco, where you will spend the night.

After a good breakfast at the hotel, you follow the cycle path along the old railway track of the Dolomites railway. You pass Lake Toblach and the military cemetery established in memory of World War I. Not long after, you can enjoy the view of the famous "Three Peaks" ("Drei Zinnen") on your way to Lake Dürren.
From here, the route climbs slightly before you reach the border between the provinces of Bolzano and Belluno.
From Cortina, the pearl of the Dolomites, you roll easily and comfortably southwards. The view towards the mountains is simply beautiful!
The road ahead goes gradually downhill and is easy to cycle. You continue following the old railway. On your left is the Sorapis mountain massif, and on your right you see the Cinque Torri mountain formation; 'the five towers'. You then cycle further through the Boite Valley and on to Pieve / Calalzo di Cadore.

From Pieve, you follow the cycle path all the way to Longarone. This town had to be completely rebuilt after a landslide hit the dammed lake above the town in 1963. The entire town was flooded and destroyed.
From Longarone, you cycle on to Conegliano, which is today's final destination.

This is the day when you leave the Alps behind and reach the beautiful city of Treviso, which is among other things a part of Italy's fashion center.
On your way there, you can admire many of the beautiful villas created by the master builder Palladio. His buildings were constructed under the strong influence of Venetian tradition. The Sile River is your companion on the way to the Adriatic Sea and Venice, the delightful canal city with many famous squares and bridges.
Enjoy your evening in this unique city!
