Bike cruise in Croatia - southwards from Split

Bike cruise in Croatia, with island hopping by bike

Please note! Contact us BEFORE you book flight tickets for confirmation that the trip will go ahead as planned and that there are available spaces.

Live on a boat – and explore new islands with your bike every day

This bike cruise departs south from Split, and we dare say that this is the perfect holiday. At least if you like to discover new places every day – without changing hotels. And if you like fantastic cycling routes with magical views and little traffic, crystal clear water, and delicious, local food. Add friendly people and a relaxed environment – then it must be close to a perfect holiday?

Our experience is that a cruise, with ship and bike, is the best way to experience the fantastic Croatian coast, with all the beautiful harbours the boat sails / you cycle into.
On this bike cruise, you will visit Brac – Hvar – Peljesac – Mljet – Korcula – Solta – Split, among others. One holiday gem after another, all with exciting stops for cycling excursions and hikes.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to enjoy local food & drinks, both on board the boat and at restaurants in the various harbours. Naturally, there will also be plenty of time for sun and swimming.

Cycling is scheduled every day – the bikes are of course on board! You choose whether you want to rent an e-bike or a standard hybrid bike (additional cost).

PS! This is a very popular trip, so participants can come from all over the world, not just from Norway.

Feedback from previous bike cruises:

An absolutely brilliant trip, a perfect combination of physical activity on a bike, sunbathing, swimming, and experiencing new places every day. The boat with 30 fellow passengers and good communal meals provided an excellent setting for pleasant socializing, great conversations, and a lot of fun with new and old friends.

Choice of Ship Category

When you book a bike cruise with us, you do not choose a cabin – you choose a ship. If you choose a Premium Ensuite ship, for example, the entire ship is of this cabin category. The only additional choice you make is whether you want a cabin on the upper or lower deck.

There may be several ships sailing on the same departure date, such as a Premium Ensuite ship and a Traditional Ensuite ship. If you are traveling as a group and wish to stay on the same ship, everyone must choose the same ship category.

Traditional Ensuite Ships

Traditional Ensuite ships accommodate 20–38 passengers and consist of wooden ships with a classic look and simple standard. The ships are smaller than the Premium class, 23–28 meters long, but offer both charm and a great atmosphere on board.

The cabins are 8–10 m², all with a private shower, toilet, and air conditioning. Most are furnished with bunk beds, often with a slightly wider bed on the bottom and a regular-sized one on top. The cabins are distributed across the upper or lower deck – what distinguishes them is the size of the windows and their location on board.

Premium Ships

Premium ships accommodate 24–38 passengers and are 30–42 meters long – just the right size for both plenty of space and a personal atmosphere on board. The cabins are spacious (8–14 m²) and maintain a consistent, good standard with a private shower, toilet, and ventilation hatch in the bathroom.

All cabins are equipped with air conditioning, a double bed or two single beds, a hairdryer, and a safe. They are distributed over two decks:

  • Upper deck with windows

  • Lower deck with two round portholes (approx. 30 cm in diameter)

Premium Superior Ships

Premium Superior ships accommodate 32–38 passengers and consist of newer, modern small cruise ships, 35–41 meters long. On board, you will find a sun deck, air conditioning in the salon, and a cozy lounge area.
The cabins are 8–14 m², furnished with a double bed or two single beds, and equipped with a hairdryer and a safe.

Of course, the ships have a full crew: a professional crew, including chefs and the captain!

Quick facts about the trip

The trips last for 8 days. The ship sails to a new port every day. The vessel sails during parts of the day, and docks in a cozy port in the afternoon where it remains for the evening / night. Once ashore, you use your bike to discover the different places. You can find the detailed daily program below.

On board the boat, we have breakfast and lunch. For those who choose the Premium Category, there will be an informal 'Captain's dinner' on board on one of the evenings.
A relaxed and pleasant atmosphere prevails on board, as we maintain our usual 'casual dress code' on our trips.

Great descent on the south side of the island, with views of the bay surrounded by steep cliffs. You cycle past several olive and grape farms on the way to charming Smokvica.

Eventually, you roll down to the sea, where it is possible to stop at the beach for sun and swimming!!!
From here it goes uphill again, before you arrive at today's final destination; Vela Luka. There, of course, the ship is waiting for you!
