Day 1Arrival Lago Maggiore / Vineyard Visit

Arrival Milan Malpensa. Private transport is waiting at the airport. From the airport, we set course for one of the most noble wine regions in all of Italy; Gattinara. At the Travaglini vineyard, you will start with a guided tour before a light lunch with wine tasting. Fantastic vineyard with top-quality wines!

Expect to arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon. Free time before a joint dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Dinner is served in the hotel restaurant at 20.00 (included).

Day 2Cycling trip up the Mottarone mountain

Those who wish can start the day with a refreshing morning swim.

After breakfast, you will be given your e-bikes. The route goes along the lake and through the towns of Intra and Verbania. Once you get around the bay, you start climbing the mountain. Good thing you have an e-bike… From here, you follow the road further up the Mottarone mountain. There will be opportunities for several photo stops along the way, fantastic scenery! Views of the Swiss Alps in the north, as well as Lago Maggiore and Lago Varese. Lunch is reserved at a local osteria in the town of Gignese.

After lunch, the trip continues back the same way. On the return, you get the full view of the lake - magical.
Opportunity for relaxation on the beach or by the pool before dinner.

Dinner this evening is reserved at a restaurant in the town of Intra, approx. 2 km from the hotel. Dinner is paid directly at the restaurant.

Day 3Boat trip on Lago Maggiore and lunch at Isola dei Pescatori

The day starts with a morning swim for those who wish.

After a relaxing breakfast, you gather on the pier to board your own, private motorboat – there will be an excursion on Lago Maggiore. You choose whether you want to drive the boat yourself, or if you want to have a boat driver from the hotel (additional cost).
The destination is the islands of Isola dei Pescatori and Isola Bella. The noble Borromeo family has, ever since the Middle Ages, had great influence in the area around Lago Maggiore. These islands have been important to the Borromeo family since the Middle Ages. It is possible to visit, among other things, their palace and exotic garden (recommended), before it is time for a wonderful lunch at a cozy restaurant on Isola dei Pescatori (reserved table, but lunch is not included in the price).

After lunch, you choose whether the trip goes back to the hotel or if you want to explore the area further.
Afternoon on your own, with the opportunity for sun & swimming.

Dinner is reserved at a local pizzeria within walking distance of the hotel (dinner is not included and is paid directly to the restaurant).

Day 4Open day for sun & swimming, hiking and individual activities

Easy morning with the opportunity for a morning swim and some relaxation on the beach.

This day is open with opportunities for your own activities or just relaxing on the beach. There are very nice opportunities for hiking up the mountain right next to the hotel. The hotel also has its own Vespas for rent if anyone wishes to explore the area on their own. The bikes will also likely be available to rent for an extra day.

Day 5Departure

After breakfast, it is check-out and departure to the airport.
