Wine safari in Puglia, Italy – 8 days

Bicycle tour from vineyard to vineyard in Puglia – where vines meet the Mediterranean

Cycling and wine in Puglia – from the hills to the sea!

Join us for an unforgettable cycling trip through Puglia in Italy – the region known for its whitewashed towns, ancient olive trees and some of Italy's best wines. Here you cycle from vineyard to vineyard, through hills, vineyards and small villages – and stop along the way to taste the pride of Puglia: Primitivo, Negroamaro and the fresh white wines from the Itria Valley.

The stages cover varied landscapes: From the hilly area of Terra Gravine to the iconic trulli houses in the Itria Valley and all the way down to Salento's sunny vineyards. Several of the days end with wine tasting, and on the last evening in Brindisi, a dinner with a wine pairing awaits to put the finishing touch on the experience.

Luggage is transported between the accommodations, so you can enjoy the trip without heavy luggage on your bike.

A tour that suits most people

The daily stages are approx. 40 – 65 km, and mostly follow quiet roads. There are some hills along the way, but no long or demanding climbs – a great trip for anyone who likes the combination of activity, local food & wine.

The Authentic Southern Italy

Puglia offers a unique mix of history, wine tradition, and Mediterranean life. The region is famous for its characteristic Trulli houses, small masserias, and cozy villages – giving you an authentic insight into the real Southern Italy.

The stages are designed to let you experience both the ravine landscape of Terra delle Gravine, the green hills of the Itria Valley, and the sunny vineyards of Salento. Upon arrival, you will meet our English-speaking partner who will go through all the stages in detail. You will then navigate using a mobile phone provided at the briefing. Luggage is transported between accommodations, so you can cycle light and free.
