Italy

Tuscany for real – behind the wheel of a classic Fiat 500

Tuscany as it is best experienced – in an original Fiat 500

A social and atmospheric way to experience Tuscany

Do you dream of a truly special journey through Tuscany's rolling hills and historic villages?
Get behind the wheel of a classic Fiat 500 and experience the perfect combination of freedom, adventure, and Italian charm.

This trip is not about speed and fast cars, but about pure driving pleasure, small moments, and the nostalgia that comes with an iconic Fiat 500. With the wind in your hair and the sound of the engine's soft hum, you wind your way through vineyards, medieval towns, and beautiful landscapes – just how Tuscany should be experienced.

Quick facts about the trip

The trip goes through classic Tuscany, in the area around Lucca and all the way down to the Versilia coast, via vineyards, hills, and charming small towns.

Leisurely pace

Over five days, you will drive on cozy country roads with little traffic, in a landscape that is constantly changing. The routes are chosen by local guides, with a desire to show you the real Tuscany. Here, it is not about distance or pace, but about everything you see, hear, and notice along the way.
The group stops when it feels right, whether it's for a Kodak moment, for lunch, or just to take in the Tuscan atmosphere in one of the many villages you visit along the way.

This is a social, atmospheric, and genuine way to experience Tuscany. The trip is perfect for those who want to visit unique medieval villages and small towns at a comfortable pace – behind the wheel of a true icon from the 1960s and 70s: the original Fiat 500. A car that is guaranteed to evoke both smiles and curious glances.

Who the trip is suitable for

The trip is conducted in small and organized groups, with a maximum of eight Fiat 500 cars on the road. A local guide is present throughout the trip, showing the way and driving his own Fiat 500. This ensures a good flow in the days ahead – he also serves as a back-up in case of any technical challenges along the way.

Each Fiat 500 has room for two participants, with the option of one extra passenger in the back seat. This makes it easy to participate whether you are traveling as a couple, with friends or alone. For many, sharing a car and experiences with new acquaintances along the way is also a nice bonus.

The cars – genuine classics on four wheels

You will drive a classic Fiat 500 from the period 1968–1972, with an engine capacity of approx. 15 hp.
The cars are small but full of soul – and perfect for the narrow, Tuscan roads.
