Quick facts about the trip
The trip starts and ends in Lakselv in Finnmark.
A local partner will take us on a snowmobile safari through the magnificent North Norwegian winter landscape.
We eventually swap the snowmobile for a RIB boat and are transported across the Sarnesfjord for fishing and ocean rafting. On the last day, we drive cool ATVs up to the North Cape plateau.
There will be accommodation in newly renovated cabins for one night, and beautiful, modern rorbuer (fisherman's cabins) for two nights. Both the cabins and the rorbuer have double rooms. Showers and toilets are shared with the other participants in the same cabin / rorbu.
You can borrow a warm winter suit, gloves, boots, and a helmet for use on the various vehicles.
All meals, accommodation, equipment, transport, RIB trip, rental of snowmobile and ATV, and insurances are included in the price. The only thing you need to arrange yourself is the round-trip travel to Lakselv. We assume meeting at the airport at 12:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Local guides
All excursions are with professional and experienced local guides. We start each excursion with a briefing on equipment and safety. You will be provided with all technical equipment on site. See the separate equipment list further down the page.
Driver's license class B
You need a class B driver's license to drive a snowmobile and ATV. No prior experience is needed to drive. Training will be provided on site. The specified price is based on two people riding together on each snowmobile / ATV.
The snowmobiles are new / almost new 650-800 cc from Polaris, with approx. 120 hp. All ATVs are Polaris 570 touring models.
