Quick facts about the trip
On this hike, you will walk along some of the most spectacular trails in Slovenia, including Via Alpina Trail, Slovenian Mountain Trail, Alpe Adria Trail, Soca Trail, and Juliana Trail.
With an experienced, English-speaking local guide, you will explore everything from high alpine landscapes with magnificent views to lush surroundings at Lake Bled and Bohinj. The hike is technically easy, with daily stages of 8–12 km and altitude differences between 100 and 1000 meters.
The first night you will stay at a hotel in Ljubljana. The next 2 nights will be spent in mountain huts with a simple dinner service, beer and wine, shared toilet and shower facilities, and bedrooms with 4–12 beds. The last 4 nights you will stay in comfortable hotels of a good standard.
Most days (except days 2 and 3) you will be driven by minibus (max 8 seats) to the starting point of the day's hikes. A maximum of 8 participants per guide ensures close follow-up.
