Hiking in Gran Paradiso National Park, Piedmont, Italy

A hike through the best of Gran Paradiso

Four days on foot through mountain passes, valleys, and authentic Italian landscapes – this trip gives you a taste of the wild, beautiful, and peaceful all in one journey. Gran Paradiso is not just the name of the national park – it also gives a hint of what awaits: an area of great contrasts, varied trails, and an impressive landscape. The tour starts and ends in Turin – a lively city with great food and a relaxed atmosphere.

Active holiday without stress

You walk from place to place, with new impressions every day and a new cabin as your destination. The tour is suitable for those who like to be active and enjoy spending the day outdoors. Gran Paradiso offers great variety in both landscape and pace – an experience a bit off the beaten track.

With or without a guide

Who is the trip suitable for

This trip is suitable for you who enjoy being active outdoors and who thrive on hiking several days in a row in the mountains. You should be in decent shape and comfortable with varied terrain – there will be both steep sections and a fair amount of elevation gain along the way. Some of the days are a bit longer than others, but the pace is leisurely and there are many experiences to be had.

You do not need climbing experience, but you should be used to hiking with a daypack. This is a trip for you who prefer simple and authentic experiences over luxury – and who think it sounds nice to end the day with dinner at an Italian mountain hut.
